The Stedman W. Foundation provides grants annually to Brantford/Brant charitable organizations. We primarily support local charitable organizations focused on children, the arts, health care, education, and the United Way. We do not support religious or sports organizations.
Organizations wishing to be considered for a grant should submit a letter of request that includes the following

- a brief overview of the organization and its purpose.
- an outline of the project and for what the grant monies will be used.
- the dollar amount of the grant being requested.
- the organization’s registered charitable number.
Please use this CHECKLIST to ensure you have all the required elements of your application.
A copy of last year’s financial statement must also be submitted, along with any other supporting materials.
All grant requests must be received before the September 15th deadline to be considered.
